Our shopify main shop is US based
But there are different locations for example in Europe with a Warehouse and shipping from there. Currency is EUR for those sales.
We wanted to create a PoS for an event and we bought the WissPad 3 card reader as this would be the device for europe.
Now we can’t connect it as it’s not selectable for connecting.
Seem like this is due to the fact that the store itself is US even so we already sell online in EUR.
How can that be solved?

To accept in-person POS payments in multiple countries, you must create a separate Shopify store and Shopify Payments account for each additional country, unless your main store is in the European Union (EU). If your main store is in the EU and sells only in euros (EUR), then you don’t need to create separate accounts and can have POS locations in other supported EU countries all managed by one Shopify store.
After more than 1 year (or even 2 or more) with currencies in Shopify, is it really the answer? “open two or three stores”… what?
There is no reason that POS doesnt support multi currency as shopify. I want to open several shops in different countries but I can not because POS only works with my preconfigured ccurrency. It is totally useless.
Do you really know how much work is to mantain two different shops? Please, make this working as soon as possible.

We know you need a solution we also search for solutions but the answer is contain in our previous answer!

About your case, because we see you are also a partner - if this is a client project at this moment this is not the best but still the only one to overcome this technical limitation is to create 1 more main store based in a European Union country - your client will need to register a company in country that support Shopify Payments: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/payments/shopify-payments/supported-countries.
Pick up a country with small corporate tax: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/taxes/eu/eu-tax-reference;
Configure multicurrency for diffrent markets: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/markets/manage-local-currencies;
Register a company by OSS for TAX Compliance https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/taxes/eu - like that you can collect VAT from one jurisdiction, if you have warehouse in different country will be diffrent scenarios.
Second Automate your inventory 2 way sync between this 2 stores and any warehouse.
Operationally, the work will become double which is a huge effort, but from your question and case - we understund you want to scale your business for alot of EU country - so that will sefe you alot of job at this stage.
If this feature is critical for you to expand your business at the moment, this is one way to use POS in EU Country - one main store in dollars in USA and one main in euro in European union.
Thanks but it is not a solution, it is a nightmare of several process and complexity for a feature that after some years supporting currencies in Shopify “web”, I dont understand why it is not supported in POS.
