In relation to our Shopify Markets, we are setting up our regions – one being Australia and the other being USA and rest of world. Our AUS orders are fulfilled through our own warehouse here in Australia, and our USA market orders are to be fulfilled through our 3PL Fulfilment company in the states that use an integration app to talk to our Shopify. We seem to be having a few issues with all of our orders (worldwide) going to our 3PL company to be fulfilled. Do you know if Shopify Markets allows for this set up with a 3PL for one region only and our warehouse location being for the other region?
You should be able to set this in the Settings > Shipping and delivery > Shipping section of the admin. You can create a new shipping profile and assign each location to the country or market (new feature) that it should cater to. You can then also apply different pricing structures for each location.
If you dropshipping from China it might be easier to deal with the issue, you just need to find a reliable Chinese 3PL to help you fulfill worldwide users except the USA and Austria market, no need to set one 3PL for one region, the more 3PL the more complicated for your business.
