How can I shorten a 16-digit coupon code?

Hello,
currently we have a 16 digit coupon code. Is it possible to shorten this code, if so how is this changed.

Here are the steps on how you can manage discount codes:-

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Discounts.

  2. Click the name of the discount that you want to edit.

  3. Edit the discount’s settings.

  4. Click Save.
