Is there a way to shorten the ID #? I would like to start with a 5 digit number and then increase:
EG.
10001
10002
10003
As a small company, there is no need for 12 digits. Any ideas?
No. A customer ID is not unique to your shop so the number hasn’t been that low in a very long time, and it’s also something you can’t customise.
But that said, why do you need to control the number? I am curious to know given there may be another way to tackle that need. It most cases the customer would really never see it so i assume it’s some internal process.
