I have an online store with 8 locations and each location has its own stock.
Currently, when a customer puts a product in the cart and if that product is not in stock for their location, shopify gives an error at checkout, preventing the customer from proceeding with the purchase ( image: checkout). Shopify doesn’t inform you which product was in error, if it is out of stock or has insufficient quantity. This causes customers to give up on the purchase.
Shopify has a page that you can see in the backoffice, accessing abandoned carts. On this page the information is very complete but it is not visible to the customer. (image: checkout2)
What I want is to make this information visible to the customer at checkout. It’s possible?
