How can I solve domain connection issues with my online store?

I just set up a shopify online store a few days ago and am trying to point my existing domain with Whois to shopify but shopify continues to say the A record and Cname are not connected and need attention even though I changed the A record to the shopify IP address and changed the Cname to shops.myshopify.com.

For your A record try updating the IP to 23.227.38.32.

*If you have a way to update your TTL to the lowest setting so that it can update faster.

Thanks. Whois help desk had me change the servers to them instead of plesk and it fixed the problem.
