Hi community, I have a slideshow on the top of my homepage. The problem I’m having is that on one slideshow image the text is a bit longer so it is stretched across the image. This isn’t very aesthetic. Is there a way to stack the text that I’m un aware of?
Topic summary
Main issue: The homepage slideshow has a text overlay that’s too long and stretches across the image; the requester wants the text to stack for a cleaner look.
Recent updates:
- A helper asked whether the desired layout is split (image on one side, text on the other) and requested the store URL.
- The requester provided the storefront preview (aa80e6.myshopify.com) with password “sohpri” and mentioned a screenshot highlighting the preferred placement.
- The screenshot/attachment did not load correctly; the helper couldn’t see it, and a reposted image link still appears broken.
Status: Unresolved/ongoing. No code or theme-specific solution has been provided yet.
What’s needed next:
- A working screenshot or clear mockup showing the desired text placement/stacking.
- Clarification on layout intent (stacked lines over the image vs. split layout with text on one side).
- Optional: theme name/section used for the slideshow to guide CSS or theme settings changes.
Notes: The missing/invalid image attachment is central to understanding the requested placement.
Hey @Valeria99 ,
Do you want to show the image or a side right? like half of the screen from the left?
What’s your store URL? I will take a look.
