How can I stop a deleted promo code from auto-populating at checkout?

Hi Shopify Community,

A promo code that I already deleted is still automatically pre-populating on my checkout page.

  1. Does anyone know to disable a promo code from automatically populating on the checkout page?

  2. Or does anyone know how to remove a promo code that has already been deleted, from the checkout page (still automatically populating on my checkout page even though its been deleted).

If anyone has had this issue with their Shopify store and can provide a resolution to this glitch please reach out. Thank you
