How can I stop receiving multiple codes from a store?

Hi I am a customer who recently bought from a shop I had regularly bought from before. For the first time I had to enter a code. Since then I have received 5 different codes on two devices. How can I stop these. I did not want a shopify account but it was the only way I could make contact.

I assume you’re referring to a purchase made with the Shop Pay app and the codes for authentication here. It looks like somebody else accidentally entered the wrong phone number when signing up for Shop Pay and that is why you’re receiving many codes. This is a common occurrence and nothing to be alarmed about, nobody can make a purchase using the code.

Though it’s annoying to receive these messages, receiving Shop Pay codes does not mean your information is compromised in any way, as we take personal information security very seriously.
