How can I successfully import a product with 281 variants?

Hi, I am trying to import a 1 product that has 281 variants. The system appears to be be loading the csv file and is not returning any errors. It is even providing a confirmation that the product is imported. However, the product and variants are not showing. I receive an email that states the import was not successful due to too many variants (see exact message below). Is there something I am doing wrong or is there truly a limit to the number of variants one can import on a single file. Thanks in advance. I’ve had this happen before, after some searching I found that the limit for variants was 100 (i think) so you can’t have more than that i’m afraid.

The limit for variants is up to 100 on a single product and cannot be raised for any account or plan.

You can’t bypass this limit, but there are 2 solutions to get around it.

Im in the same position, surely this would be an easy fix for shopify?
