I have been trying to install a Meta pixel(or Facebook pixel) on my store so I can track visits to the store through an ad. I tried several times to use Shopify integration, but couldn’t get it to work. I decided to manually install the pixel in the theme. Will this work? If so, how long should it take? If not, what should I have done? It is, i think, installing the pixel into the theme as of the creation of this post, but I don’t know how long I should wait, and I don’t want to shut it down if it’s actually doing what it is supposed to.
UPDATE: It didn’t work. After some time, a small window popped up asking me if I wanted to leave the page. I clicked on “Leave”, and then looked at the code. The pixel wasn’t there.
I checked the pixels on Shopify and Facebook, and they have different ID numbers. How do I get the same pixel in both, so I can use the pixel to track visitors?

Beside, are you using any third-party applications that include a feature? It could be possible that the pixel is coming from one of the applications if so.

I had a pixel set up, but the pixel name and ID did not match the Pixel in
the Meta Events Manager

You probably won’t see the pixel on the site because that’s the problem - I cannot install it. I tried the “Preferences” in my Online Store on Shopify, but it doesn’t work. The pixel in Facebook’s Events Manager is not an option, and the one created in Shopify has a different ID number. Facebook is no help, they use foreign people who cannot understand English(I tried, I was sent a long email that was no help at all).
