How can I successfully upload multiple images per product in a CSV file?

Hi, I am trying to upload a CSV file. Within this file, there are 400 products with no variants, although each product contains 3-11 images. Therefore, I created another line at the bottom of the parent product line for each image URL i have. When uploading this, I get an error stating “Validation failed: The variant ‘Default Title’ already exists”. After several attempts to get this right, I managed to get the products imported, however the products show 0 stock (even though this was populated on the CSV) and only 1 image showing per products (when there was multiple images on the CSV)

The support team can’t assist any longer after 6 attempts and advisors, can anyone else please assist? I am close to just giving up with Shopify at this point, getting very little support.

This is the issue. You have to create the next column for each photo, not the row

Hi, thanks for the reply but this definitely doesn’t work. I have just tried to upload it with the images on the same line, and image position and alt text next to it and I get the below error.

  • Line 2-4: ignored because handle {handle desc} already exists.
