At this time, paying Shopify bills in your local currency isn’t available to merchants in countries outside of the United Kingdom, India, Canada, Singapore, and European Union countries where the Euro is the official currency. This is why there’s no option to change the billing currency in your store.

I do understand the benefit of being able to pay in your local currency, so I’m happy to submit this as a feature suggestion to our platform development team. It’s not an immediate solution but it’s a good idea to make them aware of the demand for this so we can look into the possibility of introducing it in the future. If we end up allowing merchants in Australia to be able to pay in AUD, we’ll publish it in our changelog.
