How do I change my default language from USD?

Welcome to the Shopify Community! Happy to explain how to change your currency. Have you already processed any orders (even a test order) on your store? If you haven’t, you can change your store currency yourself by following these steps:
- Login to your Shopify Admin.
- Head to Settings > General.
- Scroll down to the Store Currency section.
- Change your currency from the drop-down as desired.
- Click Save.
If you try to follow these steps, and the currency is not able to be changed, this means you’ve processed an order on your store and will require assistance from our Support team to change your currency. To contact our team, follow the link to our Contact page, login to your store, search for issue you need help with, for example “change currency”, and then look for the option to Continue to get support. You’ll be able to connect with our Support team via live chat, callback request, or email. At this time we are unable to offer account-specific support via the Community - so this will be the best way to get this setting changed!
For context, changing your currency on a store that has already processed orders can have some major impacts, which is why you’ll need to reach out to our Support team to make this change. It can impact reporting, product pricing, future refunds, apps, gift cards, and shipping rates. Our Support team will run through this in more detail with you before you make the change.
