How can I tag IOSS orders in my online store?

Hi guys,

We have an issue with IOSS orders in Shopify

So we’ve switched it on for a test store, but would like to be able to tag these orders if possible?

E.g. through Shopify Flow / Mechanic etc

The main reason for tagging orders is that our store is in GBP, and the IOSS threshold is in EUR

Shopify uses an internal conversion rate to know when a GBP order value has exceeded the EUR threshold

Or Shopify orders are exported into a third party system (Netsuite) so we need to know which orders have are past the threshold

Many thanks,
Jorge

If you are using IOSS, the threshold for VAT collection and payment is 0€, always. Thresholds are only applicable in intra-EU sales.

There is automation available: www.easproject.com

Thanks for your reply! The question was about the upper threshold, e.g. the €150 Euro limit

Our store is a GBP store that ships to EU - customers are charged in GBP.

So we needed to know which orders have had IOSS applied or not.

Of course, apologies ?

The solution uses official exchange rates for calculation and simply excludes the ones exceeding the IOSS 150€ threshold. Ones exceeding the threshold will also have the duties calculated automatically.

Reporting is automated and in a ready-for-filing format, just in case you do not need the intermediary.
