I am setting up a traditional “customer email from free download” page, but there’s one hangup: When my customers/contacts sync from Shopify to Mailchimp, they don’t have any data on source page, tags, etc.
I would like to be able to include a special tag (or other Mailchimp field) only for those people who sign up via a single page on my Shopify store.

How can I add a tag just to the customers who sign up on that page?
Alternatively: How can I require someone to sign up for email marketing to check-out with a free download product?
