How can I tell which products are the most profitable, even if they are very low in retail cost?

For example, I sell a lot of greeting cards. Are they worth it even if they only cost a few bucks? They have about a 50% markup from wholesale cost.

Hi:waving_hand:! A simple way to look at it is: don’t focus only on the selling price, focus on the total profit the product generates.

If your greeting cards have a 50% markup and sell consistently, they can absolutely be worth it. A low-cost product that sells 500 times may generate more profit than a high-ticket item that sells 10 times.

I’d recommend tracking both profit per order and total profit by product to see which items are really contributing the most to your business. You can feel free to use GoProfit to track these metrics.
