Dear all
We run a shopify-store in switzerland. At the end of every month we want/need to see the sum of the unpaid orders. Does anybody have an idea, how you could easely fix this total amount it on shopify? The actual total of unpaid orders? Would be great! (perhaps including the fullfillment status?)
Best regards, Daniel
Hi, @cortellini66 . Iâm happy to help with this! Can you tell me more about how you manage your orders? For example, do you send customers invoices after theyâve placed their orders?
I believe the best way to do this would be to filter your orders and export them as a CSV file. If you go to your âOrdersâ page in your Shopify admin you will see options to filter your orders right above your list of orders. To use different filters or combine filters, click the âSearch and Filterâ button (it looks like a magnifying glass) and add your filters using the âAdd filterâ button. You can also click âFâ on your keyboard to open the search and filter options. This can help you see a list of orders that are unpaid and unfulfilled.
Since you mentioned needing to do this every month, I also recommend saving this filtered view so that you can easily access it every month without needing to add your filters every time. To do this, click the â+â button on your âOrdersâ page and choose a name for how you want the view to appear. For example, âUnpaid & Unfulfilledâ. Then you can add your filters to the view you created. Make sure you click âSaveâ to save them. You can see some examples of this in the screenshots below. You can also read more about searching and filtering your orders here.
Once you have your list of orders, you can see the total unpaid amount by exporting your order list as a CSV file, and then using a spreadsheet program like Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets to calculate the total. This guide can walk you through how to export orders to a CSV file.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Dear Erin
thank you very much for your answerâŚ
It is a little bit complicate, it is the way, like we do it till today.
I strongly not understand, why shopify does nât show this important number in the statistics. For shopify it would be so easy, to add the total of unpaid orders, it ist just a easy tabell-calculation for you - instead that every shopif-user has to export CSV, create Excel and order the orders and summup the correct column.
honestly, I hoped, that someone of the communitiy gives me the hint, how there is a way WITH SHOPIFY Filters, to pick up this number, wich I perhaps didnât now. It seems, that today there is still no other way⌠puhhhâŚ
Please tell it to your programmers⌠I am sure, that at least every swiss partner is very interested on this number.
Thanks a lot, Daniel
