I need to have a report that shows a Subtotal of all products on unfulfilled orders. This is so Packaging Dept can know that there are x number of widgets and y number of gadgets to package/prepare for shipping. Does anything like this exist?
No, this doesn’t exist inherently in Shopify. You can kind of get there using the Sales by Product Variant SKU and filter by unfulfilled, but that won’t really account for partial fulfillments.

Our coffee roasting company ships bagged coffees all over the U.S. in a few different sizes and 4 different grinds. I have created a custom report for this that we use once or twice a day, separated out by Product, SKU, Variant Title (which grind) and Order Name. It works pretty well and allows me to customize it for reporting other things when needed. It took a fair amount of setup and strategy, but it works for us. I’ve attached a “manual” I made for other staff to run the reports when I’m gone. Please let me know if you have any questions.
