I currently have a Shopify store and domain. However I recently started a new store and domain on Shopify. I had a web designer complete my website for my second new store but somehow they did it under my first store.
I need help changing the domain from my second store over to my first store so my website will work with the correct domain.

Your question is a great one and one that comes up quite often. I am here to help you out with this one!
First things first, if you would like to transfer your Shopify managed domain from one Shopify store to another, then you need to be the owner of the store in order to complete this. In addition to this, all email forwarding and DNS records will follow from one shop to another. This can be completed directly from your domains’ admin following my steps below:
Log into your Shopify admin and click Settings > Domains.
In your Shopify-managed domains section, click the name of the domain that you wish to transfer.
Next, click on Transfer domain > Transfer to another Shopify store and click ‘Send transfer link’.
A link will be then sent to the store owner email address (ensure you check the email here, it is the account owner email which is not necessarily the same as the email in the registrar settings for your domain).
If you’re transferring the domain to a different store that you own, then click the transfer link in the email text and log in to the Shopify store where you want to transfer the domain.
In order for your domain transfer to succeed, you need to be logged into the Shopify store directly from the transfer link in the email message. Once the transfer is accepted, it can take up to 24 hours to be completed. You should also see a banner within the domains’ admin telling you the transfer is starting.
