How can I transfer a .online domain to Shopify without redirection?

Hi,

I bought a .online domain from another hosting. I wnat to transfer the domain to Shopify.
When I am trying to transfer the domain on “Transfer domain” at the “Domains” section in “Settings”, it shows me a message :

“.online domains are currently not supported
If you want to use this domain, you can connect it to Shopify.”

I want to only transfer the domain and use it here, I don’t want to connect the domain and redirect it to my main website that I have already.

How can I transfer the .online domain?

Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry to hear about this issue.

When the domain is unavailable for being transferred in / is not supported for being transferred in, it is expected to get a warning you outlined in your message.

In this case, you can connect your domain to Shopify store by following steps from this guide. This means that your .online will link to your Shopify store, but your domain provider will remain the same as provider you bought the domain from. This will not impact your customers experience as once connected, your online store will be found under your .online domain.

I did try to connect the domain to Shopify, but it redirect it to my main website. I want to use it in addition to the domain that I have in Shopify. I want that what I bought from Shopify and what I bought from another hosting, will be different online stores but that I can manage it from Shopify. Is it possible?
