I was finally able to talk to someone that confirmed that it was possible to use another cc processer. I went to the setup interview and selected “NO” when it asked if I wanted to use QB Payments. Now, if I make a sale and select “Charge” as a payment option, it brings up a little window to fill out for the credit card payment. The receipt will be sent to QB Desktop as a cc payment, but QBs will not handle the exchange of money (processing). I’m now working with a 3rd party processer to get my new account setup and working, then I will be back in business with QBPOS.
