Has anyone ever tried to translate pages that were built by applying Shopify Theme Templates?
We have been using Shopify Theme Editor (under online store/themes) to make templates, and then applied these templates to pages. However, when we are translating these pages (which were built by applying templates), the contents appears under “theme-templates”, instead of pages. This makes it impossible to edit the formatting, such as changing pictures, edit font, etc on the translated pages. We have tried 3 different translation apps, but none of them could format the pages built by template on the translation.
On the contrary, for normal pages (built by editing the pages themselves under admin), the apps offer an editor for you to replace images, etc on the translation. The problem with the normal pages editor under admin is that they do not make nice looking pages, and presume that was the reason why the Template Editor exists in the first place, right?
Has anyone come across this issue before? Any solutions?
