Ok noted, thanks @Fwegberts . This forum is for Translate & Adapt but good to know T-Lab also have functionality to localise images.
Topic summary
Problem: merchants using Shopify Markets with separate country domains want different logos per domain, including in checkout. Storefront logos can be localized, but checkout logo cannot.
Current capabilities:
- Theme storefront: Images (including header logo) can be localized per market/language using the Translate & Adapt app (Apps > Translate & Adapt > Theme Settings > Logo). Alternate logos must be uploaded first. Not available for product galleries.
- Some themes expose the logo setting under Theme Settings; if not visible, verify languages are enabled (Settings > Languages).
Checkout constraints:
- Checkout uses the logo set in Settings > Brand. This logo is not currently localizable per market/language. Changing checkout branding per domain is not supported natively.
- Delivery service names in checkout can be translated via CSV.
Workarounds discussed:
- Use a country-agnostic logo in checkout and localized logos on the storefront.
- Domain-based customization via subdomains and the request.host Liquid filter for unique content per domain (requires custom development/Shopify Experts; translatable text-as-logo is not supported across themes).
Status & actions:
- Staff acknowledged the request, asked for screenshots, and noted it for the roadmap. Multiple users reported the same need. No native solution for localized checkout logos yet; request remains open.
