I added the Shop App as a sales channel today however I’m facing some problems and hoping you can help me with it.
First off, under the Products tab of the app it says “You don’t have any products yet”. However if I open a product in my regular Shopify online store product list it does say it is added to the online store and to the Shop App.
My second question is how can I see my shop after I downloaded the Shop App? At the moment I can only see a random list of stores and no search option.

Firstly, awesome job on connecting your store with the Shop App! This gives you the opprtunitity to connect with even more customers and promotes a very user friendly shopping experience! I will do my best to ensure that you’re all set up. Are you able to confirm if you recently enabled your products to be available on Shop? For instance, enabling them on your Shopify Admin as a sales channel. If so, It can take up to 48 hours for products to sync to the channel.
If 48 hours have elapsed and they are still not available, kindly reach back out and we can do some troubleshooting. We’d also be happy to continue assisting you through live chat, email, or callback. Please visit our Help Center and log in to your account to create a support request.
For your second question, the Shop App features a tab that allows customers to search for stores. It is located right beside the Home tab. Let me know if you see this on your end.

I can see the search icon but it gives me only a selection of shops and not an option to search.
How can I search for items or for particular shops?
I’d love to find out more information in regards to this situation. Are you able to clarify if you are viewing the app from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or from a browser. Also, pleasure ensure that your device is updated to the latest version. You also mentioned that you are only able to view a selection of curated shops and not a search bar. Kindly send a screenshot of the page so I have a better idea of what you are viewing.

At the moment, the Search feature is only available to eligible merchants as it is in a beta phase. The goal here would be to improve brand rediscovery to make it easier for customers to connect to merchants. Feel free to check out our article that covers this here.
