I currently have the double opt in option unticked but when I someone subscribes, they still receive the email asking them to confirm their email subscription. How do I remove this? Thanks!

I have the same issue.
Iāve found a solution for mine! Such a silly bug. If you have Klayvio or another email app, navigate to the opt in settings - For Klayvio - lists and segments - newsletter - settings - consent. Have both Shopify AND this page open and select single opt in on both pages. Worked for me. Hope this helps..

I already set Klaviyo list āNewsletterā to single opt in. Are you saying to do this in Klaviyo while having Shopify open in another tab? How does this effect Shopify as well?
