How can I unlock a locked domain on my ecommerce platform?

Hi,

Shopify locked our domain to prevent any fraudulent transfers. How can we unlock it?

If your Shopify domain is locked, you can unlock it by following these steps:

  1. Log in to Shopify: Go to your Shopify admin, and navigate to Settings > Domains.

  2. Select the domain: Find the domain you want to unlock and click on it to open its settings.

  3. Unlock the domain: Look for the option labeled Domain lock or Transfer lock. If the domain is locked, you’ll see a toggle or button to disable it. Switch it off to unlock the domain.

  4. Get the transfer code (if needed): If you’re transferring the domain to another registrar, you’ll need the Authorization Code (EPP Code). It’s usually available right after unlocking the domain.

  5. Contact Shopify Support: If you can’t unlock the domain through the admin panel or encounter issues, reach out to Shopify Support for assistance. They can guide you or handle it on their end.
