You can just go and update the listing from the āApp listingā link on the app page of the Partner Dashboard, donāt have to notify (or get approvals from) anyone. Do make sure you still comply with the app listing requirements for a public app.
So, I can update listing content from partner dashboard. but if updated listing content does not comply with shopify app requirements then what happens?
Shopify periodically reviews listings and/or your competitors/whistleblowers will do and report to Shopify. Shopify may delist you until you resolve and if you donāt, they can ban you (in rare circumstances)
Is this still possible in 2024? If I go to my app inside the Partner then to Distribution ā App Store listing, I cannot really change anythig. I would like to change the image, review the text of the listing etc. Is there another part of the dashbaord where this is accessed?
Ok I found it, well Support helped me. You gotta click on the āā¦ā button of the language chosen, then āEditā then you can modify the listing for this language. Not so straightforward.
Kyle here from the API support team. If you go in to the distribution tab of your app listing, at the top of that page is a link to manage your listing.
is it still the case? What if I change Feature media and Screenshots assets on the app listing? Will it trigger a review? If yes, will the existing version still be available?
I fail to find the section to add more languages. Is that because my App is still in draft mode so I can only have one primary language until I pass the APP review?
