How can I update the cart subtotal with a custom amount using AJAX?

Hi..

I m trying to update the cart value by a custom amount (Cart subtotal - x) and update the Cart subtotal via AJAX and when you move forward to checkout, we are suppose to see the updated amount and NOT the total of the cart product.Is it possible and have anyone tried it?

No, it is not possible
We can’t update cart total directly in shopify unless we use some discount or apps
