@gregKleczka just to be clear, we (Dollarback) do not support this (POS) just yet and are waiting for Shopify to implement Store credit support for POS as well (reference doc).

Here’s a confirmation from their side that shows that they’re working on it. But I’d love to send you an update once they’ve added support.

That said, store credit can be redeemed across any order on the store for any amount and is not too dissimilar from an order discount. But there are some massive benefits to this approach because of the reduced friction for customers.

For our early customers we saw

You can check with any loyalty provider to get a lay of the land as to what a good redemption rate (most set the benchmark at 18%). Just to show that these numbers aren’t pulled out of thin air, we have references + solid case studies around this too. So I think it might prove itself in the long run.

Here’s the config that achieved the 40% redemption rate - on a 3-5% cashback rate for normal customers and a 6-10% for their paid membership customers.
