How can I use a virtual address to maintain privacy on my website?

Can anyone suggest how they get around not showing their home address on their website? I prefer to keep my home address private. Obviously will ensure my returns policy states where goods are turned to ie my suppliers. Any advice welcome.

Hey @Markssxx ,

To provide the best advice possible, can you specify if you refer to your store address within Settings or the one within the Shipping setup?

The address you have entered in Settings > Store Details is only visible to you on your Shopify billing. If you’ve edited those templates to include this information, this address can be visible in your order confirmations and other email notifications. If you haven’t made changes to these notifications, you don’t need to worry about customers seeing that address info.

However, the address you have set as your shipping origin under Settings > Shipping will be displayed on the shipping label if you purchase it from Shopify. Here’s our doc on Shipping Labels and a test label to show you how the label will appear:

A shipping label should have your address in case of returns or to let the carrier know where to return the shipment if it can’t be delivered to the recipient’s address. If you don’t feel comfortable using your home or warehouse address, you might consider u****sing a PO Box or a virtual mailbox. These options provide you with a separate business address to protect your privacy. Also, virtual mailboxes are often located in prestigious locations, giving you a professional business image.

Hopefully, you find this information helpful! Let me know if you have any additional questions.
