Hello we are taking merchandise from our store to another location for a pop up shop during the holidays with other merchants. How can I ring merchandise through my shopify account on my phone while away from the store.

That’s a great question and I’m happy to help you out.
In order to collect payments and process orders at the pop up shop, you will want to download our POS app on your phone, which is available in the Apple App store and Google Play Store, and log in.
With the POS app, you’ll be able to accept cash, credit card, and gift card payments. We have a great video on how to process a sale in the POS app that you can check out here:
You have the option of purchasing a card reader from our hardware store which makes for easy and quick transactions. However, if you don’t want to invest in that for now, you may just want to manually process credit card payments on your phone (which doesn’t require a card reader).
Using the POS app will also automatically track your inventory and sales, so you won’t miss out on that data even though you’ll be away from your store.
