How can I verify my domain on OpenSRS Email?

I received an email telling me the follow:

You need to verify your domain (zyanyanay.com) by 2022-07-13 20:00:00 -0400. If you don’t verify your domain, the website and email for that domain will be suspended.

To verify your domain, click the verification link in the OpenSRS email you received. If you didn’t receive an email from OpenSRS, resend the verification link from your domain settings.

However, when I click on the link, it takes me to an error screen. I click on “Domains” to try to access information there, but there’s nothing for me to verify. I don’t understand. Can someone please help me out?

Hey, @Happy2 !

Are you working on a Shopify Plus store, or a store on one of the standard plans? The steps to verify your domain may differ depending on the plan, so I just want to clarify that first.

I actually fixed it myself. Thank you for responding!

Hi @Happy2 ,

Rein here. Just following up on behalf of my colleague Sophia while they are out of the office.

So glad to hear you have it all fixed up now. I actually had a look at your website shared above, and it is absolutely gorgeous, you have clearly put a lot of effort into the look and feel of your business. The ethically sourced and sustainable focus is a joy to hear, and you have done a wonderful job marketing it.

How has your site been performing for you? Have you looked into leveraging SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to help put yourself and your store higher in Google searches for the keywords that matter to you?

Some ways to invest in SEO are

  1. Performing keyword research and including keywords in your page URLs, product descriptions, and blog posts
  2. Optimizing your website structure and creating a good user experience
  3. Building backlinks from other reputable websites

Done well, you can show up for popular search terms related to your products. The screenshot below shows Shopify merchant Everyday Yoga ranking on page 1 in Google search for the term “women’s yoga pants,” which receives more than 49,500 searches per month.

So, apparently you have to go into your settings, click on “Domains,” click the myshopify domain, and it should be there. At least it was for me. It took me a while to actually find it because the information provided by support did not show it immediately.

Thank you for your reply, unfortunately I can’t do any action from there, also i contacted support and I didn’t receive yet the confirmation email i should have received, something may be bugged with my account.

I hope you get it resolved, whatever is happening.

I’m having the exact same problem…
