Hi, @bogdanlau

Happy to help here! What @DelightCart has linked to is an article that helps you connect your domain to Shopify, which is absolutely useful here.

I would also recommend checking out the GoDaddy help center here on verifying your domain first.

Once done, following that, you can also connect and verify the domain from this guide here.

The steps required are:

Change your DNS records in your third-party domain provider account1. On your domain provider’s website, log in to your account.

  1. Find the DNS settings or domain management area.
  2. Change the following records:
    1. Point the A record to the Shopify IP address 23.227.38.65.
    2. If necessary, change the Host name to the @ symbol.
    3. Delete any other A records on the domain if there are any present.
    4. Point the CNAME record with the name www to shops.myshopify.com.
  3. Save your changes.

Once the above is done, it can take up to 24 hours for them to propagate and be detectable from Shopify. In the meantime, your .myshopify.com domain will be useable and will remain your primary domain.

Connect your domain to Shopify1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Domains.

  1. Click Connect existing domain.
  2. Enter your domain, such as johns-apparel.info, and then click Next.
  3. To confirm that your domain is connected to your Shopify store, click Verify connection.

It might take up to 48 hours for your domain to be verified. After it’s verified, your domain is listed in the THIRD-PARTY DOMAINS section of the Domains page with the status Connected.

Lastly, once done, you change your primary domain so that your newly connected domain will present to your customer, not your .myshopify.com URL.

Steps:1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Domains.

  1. Click the domain that you want to make the primary domain.

  2. Click Set as primary.

After you change your primary domain, the new primary domain is displayed to customers who visit your online store.
