I am doing inventory and changing products in a specific collection. I went to that collection and made all inventory show at 0. I also made it so it tracks inventory. I did this so no one would be able to order anything from that collection til I was finished. Then I filled and shipped all previous orders with anything from that collection. Then today I receive an order for one of those products. I’m baffled. I checked it again to make sure they couldn’t order it and they cannot. The ONLY thing I can think of is that it was in an abandoned cart prior and they completed the sale after I made them inactive. I guess I’m confused how we can update and correct inventory if people can order things still. I’ve been fighting with this from day 1. I enter 10 into inventory, then it lets 11 people check out with it. Or I have 0 in stock and it lets someone order it. When I do a test cart, it won’t let me add it. So the only thing I can think of is that it was already in an abandoned cart. How is this happening?
