Is it possible to discover if a Shopify merchant is using a 1.0 or 2.0 theme, without asking the merchant directly?
Is there something in the page source or js that would allow someone to identify which theme version (1.0 or 2.0) of Shopify is being used?
Knowing this ahead of time allows our support teams to provide specific support steps when a customer has a question.
Asking our customers to first follow these steps is awkward, especially since we’re not normally talking with a technical person.
