How Can Our Shopify App Pass Order Tracking When Merchants Use GoKwik Checkout?

Hi Team,

We have a Shopify app and we are tracking the full customer journey for client stores during order creation.

This works correctly for all Shopify merchants using the native Shopify checkout.

However, for merchants using GoKwik checkout, we are unable to capture any journey data.

How can our Shopify app receive order tracking or journey signals when the store uses GoKwik?

Specifically, we need guidance on:

  1. Does GoKwik provide any API, webhook, or event stream that allows third-party apps to receive the user journey or checkout activity?

  2. Is there a way to pass session data (UTM, client_id, tracking IDs) from Shopify → GoKwik → Shopify?

  3. Can GoKwik forward order metadata or tracking information back into the Shopify order so apps like ours can access it?

  4. Is there a recommended method for Shopify apps to maintain attribution when merchants use GoKwik?

  5. How do other analytics apps restore customer journey tracking for GoKwik merchants?

We want to support merchants using GoKwik, but right now we have no way to track or attribute their orders because the journey breaks outside Shopify.

Any documentation, technical guidance, or recommended integration steps would be highly appreciated.
