It would be amazing if anyone coming to the Shopify site could also Shop. Think eBay or Aliexpress where all the stores and products are published by Shopify in one site. Stores could opt in or out, and anyone on the site could choose a “Shop” tab to open the world of stores.

I can definitely see how having a marketplace style on the Shopify website would be beneficial. The Shop app is a shopping desitnation and delivery tracking app that’s available for our merchants to use. Customers will be able to use the Shop app to discover new stores and products, track packages, and make purchases using Shop Pay, and engage with your brand.
If your store meets the eligibility requirements in the Shop Merchant Guidelines, then your store and products will automatically appear in the Shop app.
