Feedback centers on improving a newly launched men’s sweater store (gorilla design) across UX, trust, and conversion.
Homepage/UI
Reduce header/nav height; move menu to one row with logo.
Enlarge hero/banner, add emotive headline and clear primary CTA; increase spacing; center texts.
Add announcement bar (e.g., 25% off), featured/bestseller block, and product listing with add-to-cart.
Add favicon; social sharing buttons; trust badges; shipping/returns info in footer.
Product page/Conversion
Clarify value proposition; add benefit-driven bullets with icons.
Color the add-to-cart button; add payment icons; create strong CTA.
Hide star ratings until real reviews; add FAQ and a simple three-step journey.
Use urgency/scarcity cues (e.g., low stock/available now).
Branding/Content/Trust
Build lifestyle imagery via shoots and UGC; increase social proof (friends wearing products).
Start a blog (design concepts, “why gorilla?”) for SEO.
Add post‑purchase surveys with incentives; prepare BFCM/holiday promos (flash sales, countdowns, secret sale pages, gift guides).
Expand catalog (only ~3 SKUs now) to improve choice.
Tools suggested: PageFly (landing pages), Gojiberry (surveys), Idukki (UGC widgets). Screenshots were shared to illustrate CTA placement. Outcome: the store owner has already applied some PageFly suggestions and is working on remaining items; discussion remains open.
Here is some feedback on how I think you can improve your store:
Adding your product listing with add-to-cart buttons to your landing page
Adding a blog about your design concepts, your customers, why gorilla? would help attract visitors via SEO traffic
Once you have some sales, it would be nice to add a post-purchase survey (marketing attribution – where they found out about you, or product feedback). You can reward your customers through coupons or points incentives to keep them coming back.
2. Add more Call-to-action (CTA) button on your homepage
A primary call to action button is one of the important things for a home page of an online store.
With this button, you will redirect customers to the page you want them to take action mostly. It can redirect to a collection page, or a product page, …
Your home page have no CTA button to direct your clients click and explore more your site. You can add it here:
Your current homepage is quite simple, you can add many things to improve customer’s experiences quality:
Have an announcement bar: Basically, the announcement bar will announce the information about shipping and discount or any promotion campaign of a store.
Shipping informationandReturns policy in the footer: Clearly state your policy regarding returns, exchanges, refunds, estimated delivery times, and any associated costs. They will build the client’s trustworthy.
Trust signals: Display trust badges, security icons, or certifications to reassure customers about the safety of their transaction.
Social sharing button: Allow customers to easily share the product on social media platforms.
4. Preparing for upcoming sales seasons
As the holiday season approaches, and with many businesses already gearing up for festivities like Black Friday Cyber Monday (BFCM) and Christmas, your products are a perfect fit for this holiday season. I highly recommend applying these tips to make the most of the festivities:
You can try to hold a promotion campaign, such as:
Christmas Flash Sales: Offer time-limited flash sales on select products to create a sense of urgency + Utilize countdown timers and eye-catching banners to draw attention.
Santa’s Secret Sale: It can be created a sense of exclusivity by offering a hidden sale section with special discounts. For example, you can create a hidden page on your website accessible only through a unique link. Share this link with your email subscribers and social media followers as a special treat.
Gift guides and recommendations: Create holiday gift guides or product recommendations to help shoppers find the perfect gifts for their loved ones. Categorize products based on interests, budgets, or recipients to simplify the shopping experience.

The sweaters look really cool! I suppose a general feedback would be to increase your SKU’s. Right now I only see 3 options to select from. Any fashion site does well when their SKU list is high and customers have many options to choose from!
Another suggestion would be since its a new web store, to build trust in your potential customers to add UGC (customer photos/videos) on homepage or product pages.
Adding UGC to your business greatly increases the conversion rate and AOV !
You can use the Idukki app to embed beautiful UGC widgets without writing a single line of code! It is super easy to use and there is a free forever plan too.
