How can we make customer notes more visible in the admin panel?

My company is moving our Customer Service team to Shopify and one of their biggest complaints is that the Notes section on customers, is not at the top of the page and it doesn’t stand out so it’s easily missed. This is an issue because they rely on those notes to tell them if a customer gets discounts, has been abusing the return policy or even notes on how to interact with certain customers.

Is this a problem for anyone else? Has anyone come up with a solution? I looked into using Shopify Flow to see if I could add an alert to remind the users to check for notes, but that’s not possible.

I understand their issue, if you look at this test customer it is very easy to just click the “Create Order” button and never see the notes regarding this account.

Perhaps a little chrome extension that moved the notes field to the top of the screen and highlighted it?

I also need this. The current set up basically renders the customer notes useless for order creation.

I could build a chrome extension for this fairly easily if you might be interested in hiring me for that.

Would that be available in POS or just in the Shopify Admin?
