Hi Vikesh,
Thanks for reaching out. Order confirmation emails cannot be disabled, as these are automatically sent to the customer when they complete the checkout process and act as a receipt that notifies the customer that they have paid for their order. You can edit the confirmation email in the Notifications section of your Shopify admin, which’ll allow you to get the design and feel you’re looking for.
In terms of the shipping notification, you can choose to not send this to customers when fulfilling your orders. If you have automatic fulfillment enabled in Settings > Checkout, you can make sure the option to “Notify customers of their shipment” is unchecked:
Leaving this box unchecked means that customers will not be sent a shipping confirmation email when their order is automatically fulfilled.
If you don’t have automatic fulfillment enabled and choose to manually fulfill your orders, you’ll also see an option to send a customer a shipping notification when their order is fulfilled:
Like the previous checkbox, leaving this unchecked will prevent the shipping confirmation from being sent to your customer. I will advise that sending shipping confirmation emails is often a good thing to do so that the customer is kept up-to-date on their shipment and it can provide them with confidence that their order has been dispatched and will be arriving when they expect it to. It’s especially beneficial when you having tracking information to provide, as this can be included in the shipping confirmation email.
I hope this has helped explain things but please let me know if you have further questions.
