When a member cancels his membership on our website, we want to delete his Shopify account.

Issue/Question:

I found information stating that account deletion through the API is limited to customers without order history. In the case of customers who have placed orders before, is manual deletion the only option available?

Yes, manual deletion is the only option available for customers who have placed orders before. The Shopify API does not allow you to delete customers with an order history for now.
