How do I add a name and phone number requirement to my email newsletter signup?

Hello! I believe I am needing help with some code for this one. I am looking to add a requirement for name and phone number for my email newsletter subscription signup.

I am using the Spotlight Theme. I would also like this to collect properly with the rest of my customers/subscribers.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what code and where I could add this code? Thank you!

You can try to use this to create fields, copy codes, then go to your Online store > Themes > Edit code > open footer.liquid file, add code below your footer-block__newsletter

Right. I am looking for a code to add these fields and where I should place that code. I believe I have found where to place that code. (newsletter.liquid) Do you know how I could do that?
