How do I add a "remove from cart" option on the spotlight theme?

I have came across many lines of code I was told to copy and paste. But none of them give me a location and none of them have worked.

can you tell where do you want to add the Remove From Cart button, and what does that do? Do you want to remove all products from cart the clicking on the button???

Online Store ->Theme ->Edit code
Assets ->Base.css

cart-remove-button {
    display: none !important;
}

My website is black I dont know if the button is the same color and thats why I cant see it or what. Also am I supposed to just add that to the bottom? Thanks.

If I add an item to cart on my store there is no option to remove it. I would like it next to each item thats in the cart but if my only option is to remove all I am fine with that too. Thanks

I seem to have confused this issue related to the design of the theme and depending on whether they support the remove from cart function it is best not to contact the theme to get the necessary help.
