How do I add a sold out banner to items?

Hi guys,

I would like to add a “sold out” banner to products that are sold out so its visible to customers before checkout.

I have read something about coding (i am completely new to that idea) and do not know the first place to start, everything i have read makes absolutely no sense

Please help!

@GC2021 - please go to customize options, select product page and check if you have an option to activate sold out label, if no then we will need to edit theme code and put label

@GC2021 - ok then chances are that your theme do not have this by default, then will need to edit the code, this is task of a developer.
