How do I add scrolling text / marquee to dawn theme

How do I go around adding maruqee / rolling text elements to my shopify store, as can be found on other themes? I’m using dawn.

Did you have an idea where you wanted this to be? Like at the very top of your site on a notification bar?

This is Richard from PageFly - Shopify Page Builder App

Unfortunately Dawn theme doesn’t provide this element yet, however you can have custom code to have the same function

Step 1: Online Stores > Themes > Customize

Step 2: click add section > Select Custom liquid and add the code below
