In order to set up the Google Customer Reviews opt-in module, you must include the survey script on your order confirmation (thank you) page. Now, visit Settings > Checkout > Order Status Page in Shopify and paste the code in the Additional Scripts box. Paste the code below in your page and replace Google Merchant ID.

Additional Scripts no longer exists.

You can also not add Google Customer Reviews in Shopify Pixels, because Shopify doesn’t allow popups.

My recommendation use a different review aggregator that is supported, here is a list: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/14620160

Or use an app such as https://apps.shopify.com/easy-google-customer-reviews

I wanted to enhance my free listings on google so I really wanted google customer reviews, but I guess there is no way to do it without paying for an app? are they working on making it compatible in the future? thanks

That isn’t what he i asking for, he is looking for Google Customer Review opt in. It is different as what you mentioned is to sync your site reviews to google. We want the special google customer opinions or reviews option that no longer works due to shopify changing checkout code.
