To provide the best advice possible, can you let me know if you already have a Shopify store on a Basic plan but would like to move it back to trial? When did you activate your Basic plan?

Generally, merchants signing up for a free trial with Shopify will have a free trial period lasting 3 days. At the end of their trial, they can select to pay $1/month for 3 months on either the Starter or Basic plans.
