Greetings, @OneCap .
Thank you for reaching out and posting this question!
I understand that you’re looking to bring back the bar-style navigation menu. Just to clarify, most themes are responsive and that they will adapt to the different screen sizes that they are being viewed from. As a result, if you have too many menu items, then the menu will automatically collapse into a “hamburger” menu. While you can try to reduce the number of menu items to bring back the navigation bar menu, the results may vary between screen sizes. Nevertheless, you can also consider setting up drop-down menus as a way of reducing the number of menu items on the first level and this could help prevent the bar menu from collapsing easily.
That being said, if you’d like to customize your theme so that the menu doesn’t collapse on the desktop, then there are a few options that you can consider. However, this type of customization isn’t recommended, as it can cause issues like cluttering, pushing content down, or pushing content off the screen. Overall, it could be a poor user experience to have a bunch of links at the top of the page or have multiple rows of menu items. Nonetheless, if this is something that you’d like to explore, then I’d recommend exploring a third-party menu app, trying a different theme, or considering hiring a developer to create a custom solution for your theme.
I’d love to hear more about your business! What kinds of products do you sell? How many menu items do you have at the moment? Also, do you have a marketing plan prepared for your store?
Sorry you are facing this issue, it would be my pleasure to help you.
