How do I change language for the order confirmation page?

I cant seem to find the option to change the language for the following : Confirmed

We’re preparing these items for shipping.

Go to Online Store → Themes

  1. Click … (three dots) → Edit default theme content
  2. Search for:
  3. “Confirmed”
  4. “We’re preparing these items for shipping”

In the Dawn theme, you can update this text through the Language Editor, as these strings are often pulled from the theme’s checkout or order status translations.

Here is the quickest way to find and change it:

  • From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
  • Click the three dots (…) next to your active Dawn theme and select Edit default theme content.
  • In the search bar at the top, type exactly: "Preparing these items for shipping" or just "Confirmed".
  • Once the search results appear, scroll down to the Checkout & System or Customer section.
  • Simply replace the text in the box with your preferred language or custom message.
  • Hit Save.

If you are using a third-party tracking app for your Order Status page, the text might be controlled within that specific app’s settings rather than the theme itself.

This information usually needs to be edited from the Default Theme Language or the Order Confirmation email notification.

For editing the following information:

“Confirmed”
“We’re preparing these items for shipping”

Please refer to the following instructions:

Step 1 - Editing Default Theme Language

Navigate to Online Store > Themes
Click on the three dots (⋯) next to the current theme being used
Then click on Edit default theme content / Edit default theme language
Search using the search box the following words:
Confirmed
Preparing
Shipping
Edit any that may be present.

Step 2 - Editing Order Confirmation Email Notification

Navigate to Settings > Notifications
From the Notifications tab select Customer notifications
Choose Order confirmation
Within the email notification search for the following texts:
Confirmed
We’re preparing these items for shipping

This will allow you to edit the content viewed by customers upon order confirmation.
